Got in a little child abuse before a front is supposed to bring in 6-9 inches of snow tonight! We had fun. Some nice white oak rounds for splitting! Been cutting along the edge of the woods so plan is to plow a few paths along the edge to fall the trees onto and cut up from there. 01776BDF-B770-4DE0-AEC8-0364B98C7A28.jpeg

Quite the chill with the wind blowing, but always a good day to be in the woods. Actually told the kiddos I didn’t expect their help today, because of how cold it was! Daughter mostly stayed camped out in the truck which was running for warmth. Son helped with the stuff he could handle. Cut and loaded in about an hour, so we weren’t there long.

And yet it keeps coming back for more!  I think I’ll throw a pair of air bags on her once things warm up. Looks like I can throw a set on for less than 300 bucks. Everyone that has them on here seems to love em!

I will when this one dies:rofl:  However, in its defense, this “not real” truck has hauled far more firewood than many a “real” truck has, so till the “real”truck is needed, let’s give it a little damm respect:rofl:

Trust me, it’s torture when I borrow the father in laws Ford F-250 4x4 with the v10, when I have a lot of stuff cut that I need to get out of the woods. Nothing special, but sure reminds me of what I don’t have each time I use it! I’m ready whenever the little Sonoma says it’s time:rofl:

Great way to give abuse. The kids usually don't mind and it is great training.
