    This one is on US Route 2 on a corner with 2 side roads coming into said corner at different angles on the same side of route 2. The states “fixed it” years ago now moved one of the roads about 100 feet. It gets hit more often now. This thing isn’t 25 feet off the road and wedged into the intersection. When a tractor trailer is coming from the west it can’t make the turn because it’s probably 140 degree corner and not enough room.

    The worst part is my great grandfather built 20 some miles of this road back in the early 1900s. We know from town to town but not start and end points. My mother has a few old pictures of them building it but they are in rough shape. Just kind of a neat thing to know I guess. It is said that in his day he was a very wealthy man. Bought all his sons their own farms when they turned of age. He was still alive when I was little but I don’t really remember him.

    Valentines Day gift of the past. This year she got some chocolate, a card and a pillow with a cute pig on it. Got to be careful about setting the bar too high (kidding) :rofl: :lol:

    We had my mother over for dinner tonight which was good. I was hoping to do a couple lobsters but apparently everyone else in town had the same idea and cleaned the seafood department fresh out of them. Had to settle for making stuffed shells, stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops.

    Yeah, here too...they said we were going to get 3-4" by 10 AM this morning...its 10:40 now, and pretty much done snowing...got MAYBE 1/2"...they claim we are in for 6-8" tonight...I told my wife last night that we will probably be lucky to get 4" out of the whole thing! :picard:The way they were acting on the local news last night you'd have thought we had 3' coming! :picard::picard:

    I survived the first covid 19 shot this morning. I got the Moderna one. It was cold going into town, -26 is what the car recorded. I am supposed to take it easy the rest of the day. I can do that. Be on the computer and feed the fire once in awhile.

    Happy birthday Brandon Scott !!

    Enjoy your weather! My brother lives in St Pete, and has said that winter is over there. I keep seeing the forecast for central Florida and we're thinking about going on a road trip. A lot depends on vaccination, and availability for our group. While our state has done well for vaccination, it might be a while. Grrr.
