Morning All. Woke up to more snow coming down. Temps are sitting right at freezing so it may start to melt this afternoon. It is windy as well so not a nice day to be running around outside. Book work and sewing I hope will be the day's activities but you never know what will come up.

Wishing a Happy Birthday to Miz Carol (T.Jeff Veal) I hope you have a great day with the family.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Another rainy night in GA. 3 nights down, 3 more to go, so I guess it's camel day for me. Need to cut another load of boiler wood for our customer. Hoping we can get some breaks in the weather. I think we are having Woodwidow and campinspecter 's weather down here for the past week and this coming week too. But the GOOD LORD knows what we need. We'll probably be begging for rain this summer.
We had a great lunch yesterday, she was surprised.
We tried the wicked deviled eggs appetizer, made with fried boiled egg, spicy pimento cheese, bacon, jalapeno pickle and shirichia drizzle...pretty tangy Miz Carol had the Oscar Filet, mushroom rissoto, filet with crab meat on top, grilled asparagus
I had Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and blackened scallops
And her free chocolate cake for her birthday. We had to bring it home...

Got the maters started yesterday...

 

Tomatoes by Memorial Day? The earliest I've ever achieved a ripe tomato was the 5th of July, with Burpee's "4th of July" hybrid.

 

Climate is a bit different here. I planted 2 of my favorite tomatoes, Hughs and Green Giant. Hughs is a very large yellow tomato with incredible flavor. The Green Giant gets really big and is solid green when ripe. Best tasting tomato I have ever raised in my 45 years of gardening. Very distinct plant as it is a potato leaf variety.

 

Good morning everyone! Had a good day with the grandson yesterday. He was quite impressed with the amount of rabbit poop in the snow all over the back yard. He decided that a house rabbit pet would be a bad idea.
Possible freezing rain tonight. Then it freezes up solid. Then snow Thursday night. Fun week! I'd rather this than the cold they have in the middle of the country, though. Brandon is looking like a genius right now.

Morning All T.Jeff Veal We got snow and rain happening. Temps hovering around freezing right now. It should warm up later today. Everything is slick out there. Good thing it is a holiday.
Midwinter Google says that you can train a rabbit to use a litter box. I hadn't heard of that until I looked.
