-6 here. Been snowing most of the day. It’s what my dad always calls “freeze your snot cold”

But in the grand scheme of things, -6 is not much colder than a typical night here.
    Still not Rope cold though!

The Oslo is cranking on some big, ugly chunks of Ash.

    That’s a chunk of ash only a hoarder could love:emb: 283B909B-FC96-40A9-BE37-07B1085976C6.jpeg

Lol, freeze your snot cold. I'll use that one too, thank you!

It's -6° out, wind chill -26°, headed down to -9° supposedly.

73° in the stove room. Burning ash, ironwood and apple at the moment.

Probably some combination of that in a bit when I rechooch, but certainly with a big split of honey locust. There's a couple of those setting right on the hearth, just waiting.

2 and 66 this morning... Just reloaded with some elm... will get it back up to temperature here shortly.... But the good news is 2 should be the high for the day... Its looking to go down from here... Forecasted to drop down to -2 or -3 by this evening.... I believe this will set a new record High low of the day... I think the old record was 4 degrees in 1936 ....

You need more trees out there. And more hills. And less wind. At least, less sustained wind! That'll fix ya right up

Any of that notorious Wyoming wind associated with that temp?
