Morning all or rather I guess afternoon for most of you. Slept in a bit and then got busy after breakfast. Grocery shopping and puttering around. Clear and cold here again but with wind so it really feels cold. I don't know if I am heading over to Mom's this afternoon or not. Make up my mind later.

    Everyone have a great day.

Morning all. 66 here. Found a set of lilies yesterday with hydrilla underneath and the fish were so thick you could walk across them. Need to catch some for an old lady today. If it pans out this morning I am going to video it. I say that every day but when the first cork goes down my brain disengages. Coffee is nice. Stay healthy.

Good Morning. My wife and I are heading up north for the long weekend after work today. It will be -20f here, and approaching -30f up there. Lots of wood burning and relaxation.

Our neighbor sent me this picture of a timber wolf taken from one of his trail cameras between their place and ours. Thought folks here would enjoy this winter scene from the northland:

Catch away! You must have a tripod setup, so your phone doesn't fall in the drink. At least show us your fish bucket at the end!

Good Morning... :coffee: ... We will officially in the freezer starting today....Been a long time since we've been this low of high temperatures ... Its been 6 days... 11 hours ... 29 minutes since we've seen 32 degrees... Here for many of days its be highs of 15 at the most... Mostly been hovering around 0 to 8... This weekend will be the stinger though... talking possible lows of (-) degrees and highs of zero or 1... degrees... Ought to be interesting... I think they said 2010 was the last time we've been down this road...

Wow, I bet a lot of people are not ready for that.
Bad things happen at those temps. Hope it doesn't last.

Good morning everyone! Got my first shot yesterday, thanks to the National Guard. They did a great job organizing. It was done drive-up style, so those poor fellows had to work in the cold.
I feel fine, don't notice any effects. It was Moderna. Got my second appointment mid-March.
Another cold day today, highs in the 20's, not nearly as bad as what Chvymn99 has. I'm making chicken soup. tt8JXBX.png
    Have a great Friday!

Morning all. Below freezing again this morning and windy. Yesterday was cold out in the wind. Snow warning out but I don't think our area will get it. Just have to wait and see. I did go and visit Mom yesterday for a quick trip. We are waiting here for the chimney inspection. Hopefully it happens today.

Midwinter love the bear in the soup picture.
    MikeInMa have a great trip
hovlandhomestead same for you. Sounds relaxing
Chvymn99 I am so glad I live where I do. Our temps are in the minuses but it is Celsius not Fahrenheit.
Brandon Scott have fun fishing. I would rather be sewing than fishing.

    Everyone have a great day

I have the GoPro Hero 8 like T.Jeff Veal

the fish were nuts. While I was getting the camera in my chestie harness my buddy had already caught 3. I will upload the video as soon as I can.
I forgot to bring my charged batteries so the video isn’t real long. But the fish quit biting soon after. We had an anomaly this morning. We had a wild shiner hatch and hundreds of bass (some as big as 15 pounds) were destroying bait on top of the hyacinth and lily pads. They ran the crappie out! You can hear them in the background splashing around on top. I know some are gonna cry foul about the size of the bass but 10-12 lbs is extremely common here. We ended up with 40 fish and had a great time. Watching those bass was something to behold.
