Glad you have a good one paid for on the way. Stinks that you need it.

I’m a little behind in posts, but I’m really glad you are getting better. Those symptoms sounded scary.

I agree, but it is what it is. I am trying to loose some lbs which I am sure makes my condition worse. But I am thankful for help that I get through the VA. It hasn't been easy while this virus is going on. They closed the pool and that was my major way of doing any exercising. I have very bad knees and walking is very limited without horrid pain. Not eligible for surgery because of other medical conditions.

53 new cases of covid today. Schools shut down for a couple weeks pending how things go from here, bars and salons etc shut down, and only essential stores let people inside, non essential stores are curbside pickup only.

Thanks. Used one day. On days off today and tomorrow. I’m fortunate in that respect. Feeling much better now. Going to bed early to try to catch up on rest.

Thank you. They felt scary too. It’s not right to have a sheet, a blanket, a comforter, and another heavy blanket over you and still be shaking cold. My body was really freaking out in it’s response. I’m hoping that will give me a strong immunity to the VIRUS in the long run.

not looking forward to that at all, but it is better than dying from the virus. My daughter in-law recently lost both and aunt and uncle, married couple in their 80's from covid within three days of each other. I was able to schedule my wife for her vaccine at walmart, but when I went back in to schedule me, it was shut down. That's OK, I don't go out anyway, she does the shopping. She also has to shop for her older sister who is disabled and in her eighties. It is really hard on her to do her sister's shopping and then have to carry it up the stairs into her house.

That actually sounds worse than I had with the virus itself. One day of aches and fever and the rest was recovery time for me. I’m guessing you did get a really good immune response and should be safe for a good while.

Hopefully you won’t have the reaction that I did Saves. I know some people who have been through their second shot of Moderna and Phizer and have had only mild symptoms. I guess it seems more frequent with Moderna, but “they” say it’s usually the younger crowd in the 20-40 range who are worse off with reaction. o_O I guess I’m still in the 20-40 crowd! :)

The virus took me out for about 3 weeks...Could not get out of bed, could not eat or drink, oxygen levels in the mid to upper 80's. Sickest I have ever been!

:( Dam. Glad you are through it. How long has it been since you got through it? And do you have any continuing/lasting effects?

Is the store where you work open? Are you losing any work hours?

Got stung by a frickin bee yesterday! Inside of my right pinky finger...most painful sting I've had in years...still all swolled up...the weird thing is that one of the most painful parts of it is when I wash my hands, running water on it hurts like heck!
What happened is I went to load a split into the Kuuma furnace and must have grabbed on/near the cold/lethargic bee (yellow jacket?) and he let me have it...at first I thought it was just a very painful splinter, but after I dropped the split in the firebox and the pain didn't change (was getting worse!) I realized what was going on...he was immediately made into a smear on the concrete once I seen him!!:hair:
