By the time we got halfway to church this morning, the car was telling us it was -11. Drive 8 miles and the temps rise 10 degrees.:loco: :loco:

    Good morning, everyone.

Snow management this morning. 9inches of snow to move around.

    More tomorrow.

The Super Bowl ended to my liking. It wasn’t the close game that I'd have preferred.

    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone, it'll be a busy day today, snow to clean up, mammogram, dump run, and a lot of computer work. My son went skiing yesterday while I had my grandson, and picked him up on the way home, so that went well. IMG_20210207_10784.jpg
That's not blood, it's snow paint.
    Have a great day all!

Midwinter you are so lucky to have your grandson over to visit. Our grandkids are 7 hours away and we usually get to see them about twice a year. Other than Zoom and Facetime, we haven't visited in over a year. Vaccines can't come soon enough.

Below temps this morning. I put sawdust and covers over my little struggling pea plants and brought in the chrysanthemums from the porch. I think this is going to last for a week. Winter has arrived. No snow though.

Watched the football game and got some grocery shopping and sewing done. Started on the income tax but I am missing some pieces so that is on hold. We will see what is in store for today.

    Everyone have a great day.

I am very lucky that my grandson lives close, and that they are all working/schooling from home. I hope you and campinspecter can get a vaccine appointment soon!

These giant female crappie probably put on a pound of egg roe. They are really fat.

Have you tried the roe sacs? Dredge in cornmeal, fry em up, a squeeze of lemon juice?

    Good morning, folks.

I'll be out this morning to take Mom and Dad to get their first Covid vaccine shot. My sister managed to get them each the appointment. I'll meet her at my folks place and we'll al, go together. It'll be snowing, so that'll make it interesting.

Then, I'll be off to the dentist, early afternoon. Regular maintenance. It'll still be snowing. 4-6 inches by nightfall.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Getting off this morning, maybe I can get something done on the rest of my days off. We need to get 3 loads of wood cut and delivered, so gonna start on that this morning, try to beat some of the rain. Showers possible all the way to Sunday. If it rains, I'll work on putting the hydraulic valve on the tractor...
Oh, I got a taste of ice stepping this morning...went to go in the shed to get a cooler and feed the cats, forgot about the heavy frost we had on the ramp, didn't take long to remember, nothing hurt much but my pride....
