Good morning Brandon Scott and everyone. It -15f and still dropping here. Its looking like teens below zero through at least the next weekend for when we head up north to spend a long weekend at our cabin...just in time to haul more wood down to home.

    Good morning, everyone.
Looks like another day of watching it snow. 4-8in.

I'll probably bring wood to the deck and bring an extra amount inside.

I'll also gas up the snowblower and let it run to temp.

We park our cars a little differently before it snows. The area where we normally park is clear to snowblow. Once clear, I brush snow off the cars and move them.

    Anyways..

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy .

**Edit - oh yeah... and there’s a football game tonight. We'll be watching.

Good morning everyone! Snow day, and of course everyone's got plans. Grandson is coming up, and my husband wants to go watch the game with his buddy. The snow ends about 6P, and tomorrow we wake up to the teens. More snow on Tuesday.
I'm fine as long as my son makes it up here to pick up Neil. If he sleeps over, that would be a little frazzling, since I have a mammogram scheduled 7:30A on Monday.
Oh well, it will all happen, or not.
I hope you all stay toasty! jIbW0vr.jpg

Good morning all! Woke up with a little cabin fever. Ice is safe finally and I have a little hand splitting to do, decisions decisions.
Church is back open but with the guide lines it just is not the same. Probably do virtual service. Well while I play mental gymnastics.
Hope everyone else has a great day!

I noticed that when we went to Michigan in May '19. It was 85° when we left GA, 900 miles up there, it was 35-40°...

NC-30 for the last 4 or 5 years... Had a NC13 before that....which was better for the square foot of the house...But after running it for 4-5 years... I decided that it wasn't big enough to hold down the fort.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Stay warm and safe dealing with that ice and snow. Looking like a gray day here. Got to fix some :flipeggs::stirpot:, go the church, then nap time, got to work 7PM-7AM for 2 nights, covering the injured guy's shift.
Got to make the OT while we can, he will come back 1 day....
Be encouraging, lend a hand, share a smile. Remember the GOLDEN RULE.

It was -21 when we got up today. By the time we finished breakfast and saw the sun rise, temps had dropped to -23.:shiver::shiver: Oil furnace is helping to keep the house warm today.

Morning All. Temps just above freezing this morning. I think we might get sunshine today. Yesterday was a mixed bag of sun and rain - mostly rain. Temps are suppose to fall into freezing territory this week. We will see if it happens. Still waiting on chimney parts for the new boiler.

yes, the big game today is on the agenda as well as chores and I hope time in the sewing room. I should get seeds for the garden this week so I will start thinking of that. Ground is pretty wet though. Garlic is starting to poke up and I have bulbs up about one to two inches all over the place. One thing about the colder temps coming, it will bring sunshine.

    Everyone have a great day.
