I remember when you have posted about the camping trips before, so glad you have like minded friends and are able to go.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. After about 7 1/2 hrs driving and a great BBQ lunch, we made it home about 5:30 PM yesterday with the new toys for the tractor. Didn't have time to separate them from the pallet... 0205211719.jpg
We got a 48" grapple and a set of 42" forks. Waiting on the adapter plate from Kubota and time to get the valve assembly from my coworker. He has the same tractor and loader as ours. He didn't want the assembly anymore, buying it from him. This will make loading logs much safer.

We see some curly hickory occasionally, but I don't usually know it until cut and split. Want me to save you some to make you a handle?

If you can salvage a 32" or longer length, then yes! Thank you!

Morning All. Weather is crazy. Rain was predicted for yesterday and we got gorgeous sunshine. This morning it is foggy and rain predicted again today. We will see.

"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them". Psalm 34:7 Children's story is about the first Passover.

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

I hope it's not too sad a time. Donate what you can bear to. I brought home a ton of my mom's stuff and it's still kicking around.

Nice toys Jeff. Hope the clean up goes well for you guys.
Found out this morning th as t my youngest has been in quarantine. He doesn't have covid. Not sure of the story behind it. He is a restaurant manager though.
    Have a great day all.

-5f and wind when I got to the spear house at 7:30 AM. Fish were running despite the weather. Saw three pike and this 18" LMB by 9:30. The bass came into the decoy and then bit my jig and wax worm I had down for panfish. I also got a few nice perch for the fry pan to go with the pike. The bass is for the smoker or pressure canner.

Clean up went ok. Her older brother had already gotten a lot of stuff moved. We were done before lunch. Thanks for the thoughts, guys.

71 degrees and thunderstorms. Tornado watch until 7 am although looks to be clearing out. Strange weather for this time of year.

    Morning, headed for coffee.
