I'll check to see if it has the signs of EAB. It probably does have infestation. I don't want to haul it very far. I have a buddy at work that said he would take the truck load for partial trade on a laptop computer...that will be my son's birthday present.
Granddaughter was in school. Tancy was around someplace, probably looking for a rabbit. If I’m dropping a tree she stays in the pickup until it’s on the ground. Then she gets to free range. She really likes to go firewooding.
Yes sir, neighbor had a tree company take it down. He gave me all the wood, and said I could work on it when I could.
I asked him what kind of tree is it? He said a big one lol. When I got off work, I stopped bye his house to see it was a huge white oak.
You got that right, a guy puts xs stickers on the saws ported it. I don’t know if you heard of him, but he can definitely make a saw run. Makes cutting firewood even more better. Heck even my wife wants to go and cut firewood now.
I got a score hauling wood today. Stopped by Rural King to look at extra chainsaw chain and possibly a canthook. There was a used 20" bar and chain sitting off to the side. I asked about it and the sales rep wrote up a ticket for $10 for the combination. It fits my 026 so now I have an 18" and 20" bar for it. They didn't have any canthooks. Bar got a bit hot but it's straight and true. Judging by the chain with on it, it wasn't run 30 minutes. Still sharp and oily. My guess is first run started without bar oil which was quickly corrected. Chain is safety chain but the price was right.
