Haven't heard any totals yet, but definitely over 10" here. The winds picked up yesterday evening while the temps dropped overnight. I think this may turn out to be one of those days where we already hit our high temp. 3 currently and snow just a waiting for me and the shovel out there! Nothing but colder temps for the next five days. Breezy (almost windy) and some drifting has begun. The plow never came by yesterday; the street is a mess.
14 and 70. Wife said the house is cold. Wood heat is easy to get used to. Hackberry burning in the fireview and BL in the ideal steel.
46 and it will be almost 60 later today, so I'm burning nothing I'm living vicariously through everyone's snow pictures tho!
Whatever you do, make sure you show her you love her every day of the year. It is important for both of you. I was never sorry for doing that and it helped to assure us of a very happy marriage.

36° and it’s been snowing all morning and now turning to rain and drizzle. We wound up with about an inch on top of what was down from the storm the other day. Supposed to get close to 40° and we’ve got to take the battery out of the backup car today no get a new one. $78 at Costco compared to $169 for a battery with the same 600 CCA and 800 cranking amps at Autozone.
We had our first cup of coffee and the temp was 26 this morning, by the time we were done with the second cup it was 32. Some maple and limb wood went in the Lopi, we're still burning down coals.
Finally some weather to test our new Regency insert, and it is exceeding my expectations. A very windy single digits here, heading well below zero for the next 5-6 days. The furnace is turned off, and wood stove is pumping out plenty of heat. A mix of sugar maple and silver maple, with the stove blower on low, is easily keeping the house at least 70f. I don't like heat much, unless it it wood heat on a winter day. It is cooler down in the basement, but still plenty comfortable, and certainly safe for the water pipes with the central air fan running, which helps to move heat and even things out in the house.
0 outside right now with wind and snow............ again. Snow is squeaking with protest as you walk!
15F, stiff west wind & snowing still. Got about 7" I'd say. Yesterday's wetter snow packed down some, but the snow now is lake effect fluff. Weather advisories have been extended. Tractor's fueled up & got an oil change & grease job, ready for morning. Oak & some Ash rounds in the boiler maintaining 72 inside.
