Had a 96 2500 on the farm - boss leased new trucks every 2-3yrs, it would skip across the road on bumps unloaded. The next truck, 98 Z71 regular cab LWB was worlds better in the comfort department.

I like to hit a dip in the road up to town in Ole Blue - just about put the GF's head into the roof:rofl:

Correct. My 98 2500 rides like poo compared to the C30.

If it wasn't for the Cummins I doubt I'd own it!

The Cummins is the only good thing about that truck.

Have 2 cords loaded on it. Doesn't do too bad. I think I'm going to add a few more leaves on the overloads and a good sway bar wouldn't hurt.

photo.JPG Well have to do some work on the hoist. One of the pins near the hydro is goobered up and came apart while hoisting. Been ghetto fixed several times before I think judging by all the weld.

Anyhow hauled some wood with it yesterday. Roughly 1.5-2 cords in logs on each load. 14-16ish footers. Remember how I said iphone camera sucks... well this is how my camera takes pics....

I know it doesn't show well but the spruce in there is about 24" across. Bed is 8ft wide.

I am amazed that there is cell signal in alaska!! More than half my day I dont have any signal and I live in the states.

I watch shows like gold rush and am amazed that down in the south american jungle and in alaska they had signal to talk...I can barely and I mean barely talk at my house regardless of carrier.

Its been getting better in the last 5 years. Used to have minimal service at home, normally gave 2-3 bars now.

I phone 4 is what I have. Its maybe 3-4 years old.
