Happy Friday, coffee is nice. It actually dropped to 30 degrees yesterday just before daylight. The water temp had dropped 12 degrees. To say the fish were in a state of shock was an understatement. Toughest day of fishing I have ever had on this lake. The fish are ready to spawn and now I’m sure they are a bit confused. It’s not over!

    Good morning, everyone

Another grey day. Showers later today. Mid-40's.

Not much except to eyeball camping gear. Heading to the White mtns in NH, over the President's Day weekend.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Not sure what I'll do today. At least I got some outside time yesterday.
I might bring it more wood, if the rain holds off.
It's hard to do with snow on the ground, but it wears me out anyhow, so I sleep well. 4KNA1NG.png

    Have a great Friday!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Enjoying a day or 2 off from work. We are going over to West Ga today, about a 4 HR trip 1 way, in the rain, to pick up a couple things I have been wanting for quite a few years, thankful for a great couple grass and wood cutting seasons, finally got the :emptywallet:saved up for it. I post pics when we get back.
Prayers for traveling mercies much appreciated. We will try to AVOID Atlanta traffic...:hair::hair::hair:

The cabin we go to was insulated a couple of years ago. It's now definitely warm inside.

I recall it being seasonally cold, last year.

We go twice a yr. The othe time is early November. It's been warm that time of year.

Morning All. Not raining at the moment. Lots of rain yesterday. Have a good visit with Mom. A little frustrating when the ferry is 1/2 hr late. It cuts into the visiting time. Between the time we go over and when we get back, they usually make up the time delay. Yesterday it was late all day so got in the missing 1/2 visiting on the other end.
Today I headed out to help make up our Sabbath children packages and then home for chores. Probably going to rain today as well.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, everyone.

30f here with a clear crescent moon out.

    More snow tomorrow. 2-4 inches.

I'll bring some wood to the deck today.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I got the basement loaded up for the cold spell. If I could burn up everything down there, it would be a good thing. 3 more months of good burning weather, and I need to empty the shed as well.
My husband rehandled two old sledges for me yesterday. They are nice and tight. IMG_20210206_18353.jpg
I wish I knew where to find better quality handles, though. These are hickory, but straight grained. The handle on my Helko is curly-grained hickory. Jeff, if you ever come across wavy-grained hickory, don't turn it into firewood.
I don't know what's up today, maybe I'll tackle our taxes. They should be simple this year.
    Have a good Saturday!
