So I'm interested in giving this chain a test run and I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on the best place to purchase it from. Looking to get 1640 links.
    Thanks all

Logger chain is probably as reasonable as I’ve seen . But, the prices of chain have gone up a lot in the last year ,or so . Maybe type “ Oregon EXL for sale” into your search engine .

Kinda depends on how many drivers are in each loop. 68, 72,84...

Website says just shy of 23 loops of 72 drivers (20").

Haha no !! That saw keeps the shelf in place and it's used for reserve dust storage.
I seem to have a country stew going on with 20",24",28" and 36" for both stihl and echo saws. And they vary by a link or 2.
Why can't it be standardized like say circular saw blades??

I like Frawleys also, good people and way cheaper than buying local.
