damm Zap, you really got the Arctic blast. We went down to 10°. Snow to come tonight along with a warm up.

 

Yes we did, a guy named Loon keeps sending it down across the border! NOAA has us heading to 17 for a high which will feel nice but we'll be -8 or below again tonight.

The old me would've had the pellet and the wood stove going last night but it was just the wood stove with the furnace set at 66.

 

We have to figure out a way to send that cold back up there. The stove ran low this morning and I reloaded and had the furnace and stove going together for a few hours. Tonight is going to be fun with the wind they’re expecting. 35mph gusts too. This house loses heat like an open door in anything over a 15mph wind.

It's some sort of conspiracy or hidden agenda.... Loon is to the north, I'm to the west. All of our unwanted weather gets sent to you guys, like it or not!

 

Dropped to 21 overnight and dumped an inch of snow. 23 now.

 

I'm glad we don't have that wind with these temps. The big pines along with the hills block a lot of it around our house but it still would be nasty with these temps.

30° out, ash in the stove. 68° in the stove room until the new load of wood heats it up a few degrees.

It's still snowing. Haven't looked at the updated totals, or expected amounts, but there's a bit of snow out there. Hard to say how much yet, but both my labs were dragging their lower units walking out to do their business while I shoveled the step and a couple feet out from the patio.

 

Around five inches of snow for us until they change the forecast.

 

Now we are gettin close to that ice line.
