Good morning y'all. Hope yall have a SUPER SATURDAY. Just gpt through cooking breakfast 7 adults and 1 child, going out to my happy place and cut and split some wood. Then this afternoon, got to go with my hunny to her mom's apartment and help clean things out.

I picked up a new indoor/outdoor thermometer+ yesterday.


There's a nor'easter heading our way for Monday at sundown, through Tuesday around noon. 8-14 inches of snow in the forecast.

I'll be making a grocery store run this morning. I'll avoid the milk sandwich crowd that'll be around tomorrow.

Then, storm prep. Including -
Move wood to deck
Walk where I'll snowblow to check
for any fallen branches
I'd like to empty my ashes barrel
Fire up snowblower. Gas it up
Locate my ramps to allow me to get
snowblower up on deck

Some of those things I'll do tomorrow morning

Tell me how the grocery store is. I'm pretty well stocked, but will pick up a few things tomorrow.

 

Good morning everyone! Bringing my grandson up to my house today, fun time! I'm glad the snow holds off until tomorrow.
Before it hits, I'd like to bring some more wood in. But that's not happening today.
To tell the truth, I've enjoyed the vacation from wood the last couple of days. It's just been too cold. I worked hard most of January, so I deserve a rest. Saving my energy for shoveling.

Yup. Opened at 7. I was there 7:30. In and out. Now. Gearing up to head outside. Barely a breeze here.

 

Morning All. Wet and windy again today. Yesterday started out that way but then the sun came out. It was quite windy and wet by evening though. After Sabbath was over (sunset), I posted the two pallet jacks for sale. I posted the first ad on FB marketplace and then another one on Kijji. By the time I had the Kijji ad finished I had a sale for the big one on FB, then I had an offer for the two of them which fell through when I told him the big one had sold. Then 5 mins later, I sold the smaller one. All local and on the FB site. Never had that happen before. It was quite astonishing. Now to see if everyone comes by and picks them up.
Busy day today with book work, sewing and a Zoom meeting. campinspecter is waiting for chimney parts to connect the boiler before he does the plumbing connects. It will also have to be inspected before plumbing. I will have to add more pictures to his install thread.

While making breakfast, I peeked out and we have a full moon with clearing skies. Still pretty windy though. As it is just above freezing, I think I will pass on the walk this morning.
