    thanks. when the cloud cover over the mountains burns off, the view gets better. Fresh fish is great here. We are rather spoilt.

    Good morning. Coffee is on and the fire is warm. I finally have time to relax and get back to check in. Our jobs and my wife's mother's home hospice care is really keeping us busy and not able to relax much. She is stable and comfortable for the most part.

    We are heading back down there today and tomorrow. They want me to cook fish so I am heading out on the lake at 6:30AM to get something to fry up for us tomorrow afternoon.

    Sorry to hear about the MIL passing T.Jeff Veal

    I decided to add a signature status. I am interested in details about what others are using so thought I would try it too...

    Another cold start. 2F currently. One more day of those temps before it warms up enough for up to a foot of snow being forecasted for Monday into Tuesday.

    just popped a turkey in the oven. Making Thanksgiving for supper tonight. Should all be ready by 14:00, so maybe it’ll be like leftovers for supper.

    Good morning everyone! Couldn't stay away from wood yesterday... I used the kindling cracker in the basement, and filled up some milk crates with cedar. Fed the stove a lot, too.
    Husband is now officially retired, so I'll have to come up with ways to look busy. Probably a good thing.

    That will be a change, for sure, having your husband home all the time. I know it was for me when Carol left Wal-Mart years ago and came home. Just be patient.
