That car looks great probably better than the day it rolled off the lot, I know the paint looks better than it did 35yrs ago.

A 9second 350? tell me it's got something else under the hood or nitrous. Beautiful ride:thumbs:
Someday I'd like a Nova II, when the house & land is paid for in a couple years I may build a shop and start on one - like I don't have enough projects I need an other one.
    It's that or a 58-59 Impala for cruising ;)

Yeah it just has a factory look to a degree. I know it's a total custom motor based on a 383 block I believe. It has a Jericho transmission and all kinds of of other stuff. No nitrous though. I'll take more pictures next time I'm there.

Did a little cutting at the farm this weekend. Gave all the wood to my aunt and uncle who have been like a second set of parents to me. Split about 2loads worth before I ran out of time.

Hauled my buddies splitter up to split with hydro s.

First 2 pics are the same load. I did not get a pic of the third :( it had the 18" rounds of white oak. Had to carry them 30-50 yards!!! And it was green! IMG_20140816_141258_755.jpg IMG_20140816_145734_270.jpg IMG_20140816_184901_015.jpg

Yep it did the mile and a half down the highway fine. Did not want to pull the hills though in the woods. I failed at one when I did not have enough speed. Just bogged down and I had to clutch to keep from stalling. Had to back down and go faster. Is pretty steep of a hill but only like 40 yards long. The old 2.3L manual with over 300,000 miles on it is a bit tired. I also turned off the AC for extra power :)

Nice to have you say hello Dan.... That truck looks like it can take anything you can dish at her... :)

Nice score on all the oak and maple.....

Whereabouts do you live to have mostly pine available?

I live in Northern Minnesota. Just south of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Some isolated pockets of hard wood, mainly along lakes and river valleys where the winter temps are slightly moderated. Lots of pine and tamarack. Hit -54F last winter. Yes I went out cutting that morning. We had just put our stove in and hadn't stock piled wood. Thank god for standing dead barkless tamarack. Down she comes and in the stove she goes. That maple and oak find this summer was pure luck.

There is some birch and aspen around. Not in my particular neighborhood though. Trying to get tied in with some of the local tree service folks. No luck so far.

Last haul to the house this ole plow truck made. Didnt help it rained on the load for a week before I could drive it back to unload it.
Not overloaded by any means but found out rusted out spring mount and frame never recovered after emptying.

The bigger ones were as deep as bed with small stuff on top. Just maple for testing saws in.

Main reason for buying newer plow truck this month.
