About $15 for 30 pack of Old Mill light. That’s my go to year around. Might mix in a vanilla Porter or Shiner winter beer no and again this time of year.

Anybody find it strange that a brewer out of Texas makes really good winter beer?

Loon-esque fashion sounds pretty cool.:smoke:They say we pay 50% more on booze taxes than you guys and there is an easy way around the gut rot and the trips to the can the next day.:coldone:

I've had red white and spew once. Never again.

My old college roomie, that brought the bear meat sausage, and I had a running contest to bring the cheapest beer possible.

He brought in generic beer once. It was literally a white can with black lettering saying "beer".

Beast light amazingly isn't that bad. Most of the harshness goes away with the light version.

I believe it! I remember being in Montreal a couple times and the bars were serving us watered down Jägermeister and Jack Daniels which irked me to no end.

I actually used to like Ballantine’s Ale quite a bit, although if you had an old skunked batch it was pretty unbearable.

Used to pay $3 for a case of long necks back in the 70's. I think it was "Buckhorn"

No, that doesn't surprise me. There's a lot of Germans in Texas.

That may be it. Like I said, it was long neck bottles-not cans. Unfortunately, we used to pick up a case and ride around until it was gone, :picard:

    then hit the bars.

When you say "we" do you mean me, myself and I or did you have accomplices to help you work on the case?  I think a lot of us did that at one point or another. At least that's what I keep telling myself when I try to justify most of my 20s :hair:

    Accomplices.

Early one evening, we stopped at a pool hall to do a little fund "collecting". Someone hadn't paid a debt they owed........It got interesting real quick in there!
