I know the garage is a mess (you should see the barn)...Any ideas for a new layout, since I'm gonna clean it, maybe I can make it more useful!!
Not just the hospital, but the clean room where all the "clean" stuff happens. You'd be appalled if you saw mine. Organized chaos isn't even appropriate.
I am the type that will keep a hunk of 2 by 4 a foot long because I know I will need it sometime and when I do need it I can't find it because of all the junk and have to buy another one! Gary
I'm back to the climbing over stuff phase. Not to good since I can hardly walk but for about 5 minutes. Oh, I like the well fed dog. I have one of mine like that. He is 109 lbs.
Ok, here's one. Grab another beer and sit in that chair admiring how nice, clean, and organized that garage is.
My suggestion? Come here and tackle my sewing room. Your garage is NEAT and TIDY. A few more shelves won't hurt but Man that place is empty!!! I thought the pics were after you had cleaned and tidied up not before. took me a moment to figure out the pictures (Football helmets!!!) Can you actually get a car or vehicle in there?
Needs bigger work bench to hold more clutter. I don't see a stereo and the ford grill on top the cabinets needs and fmf sticker to cover that blue oval.
Build a storage bay above the overhead door. Throw that electric weedeater way In the back since you have a gas powered option also. Hang the ladder horizontally or vertically on the wall. Add hooks for the rake, step stool and stuff in the trash bin.... Is that a microwave I see. Not sure of the effects from gas cans leaching calcium or w/e from concrete but I would place them off the ground. Ummmm..... Beer fridge needs a thermometer for quality control. An extension cord reel near a outlet is always nice!
I have 3 of this type of hanger in my shed, mine are full inch thick boards attached to the studs in the shed 2' long, no horizontal board , mine are crammed full to the end with whatever I can fit in there, I have to remove some tools to get what I want but it is pretty easy to pull them off and put them back, I can store a lot of tools in a small space and it doesn't take up floor space. I've also seen these made with scrap metal pipe and two by fours
Very clean and organized garage you have there. I built some very heavy shelves to free up floor space. Shop is way to0 small for the amount of work I do and even though I need a 2 step - step ladder to put the heavy stuff up there it works out well for me. Pics are from last winters painting project. Please excuse the mess.
Stereo is on the top shelf and the speakers are next to the Ford grill and top of fridge. I would like a bigger work bench, because I have to go in the barn to do any real work. Electric weed eater, blower and pole saw are the wife's...she can't start the gas ones. Good suggestions, Thanks for the ideas!
