Holy crap! 42 bucks for water? Okay, I can't bad mouth it to bad, I'm not a beer fan, I like my mixed drinks . But coors light is one of the few I can drink. But it's like 20 bucks for a 24 pack
That's craziness You have any Labatt's Wildcat in your neck of the woods? I would get that when we use to go to Senneterre, Quebec fishing. They don't export it anywhere near me.
That’s what socialism will do! We’ll be there soon. Right now 21.99 for 36 down here. Colors, Miller, Bud
Oh boy. How about Rhinelander beer that used to be $8 a case plus the deposit that was in my college days in the 90's. Pair that crappy beer with some bear meat summer sausage and you get chemical warfare in a few hours. I don't even know if they make that any more. It was not good beer. I prefer $13.74 a case of Point Special. That's actually good beer that isn't expensive.
Steel Reserve in 40s. $2.25 @ local grab and go, I laugh every time I see it. Lion Head is about cheapest I drink, but a pabst pulled from a very cold fridge on a very hot day, is pretty good.
Nasty stuff, but that's what we use to make our beer bread with our chilli, gives the bread awesome flavor.
Any of you buys drink Ballentine or Red White and Blue? Had that in the army when I was stationed in NJ. Bad nightmare for me.
Steel Reserve!! Gets the job done quick and cheap. Two of those 24 ounce cans $4. When fishing the beach it’s my go to
Same, college in the 90’s, brought the returnables back and that usually cut the price of the case in half. Rhinelander, Mt Rainer and old Milwaukee’s best. It makes my stomach turn just thinking about it
Beer prices... going up I would presume. Rising cost of fuel, worker's wages, rising amount of involuntary charity when Uncle Sam has his hand out looking for another cut of the money that he already taxed you on. There aren't too many things that get cheaper over time. I logged on tonight and saw a lock on the other post and knew something got heated... as a diversion Loon brings up beer in typical Loon-esque fashion and segues the conversation into a new post here. Rising beer costs mean either pay it, brew it yourself, or drink cheaper brew and deal with the increased gut rot the next day. Whatever you're drinking, have enough for the both of us
Wont deny it but I grabbed a bottle of Boones farm last summer when I went night fishing with a friend. He was like what the... Yeah I know it's not beer
