The problem with hydrogen is that before anyone buys a hydrogen car someone is going to have to invest in 20,000 hydrogen fueling stations across the country. Second when its all said and done hydrogen will cost more than gasoline. I want to spend less money driving, not more money driving.
All good points. Ya sorry man, I didn't know you drove a car too. Also payload is definitely a factor as well.
Ya I think that would be tough to beat, I just have an issue with buying foreign vehicles, but to each their own.
Ok 230 miles round trip is a hike, but at least you'd do it in one charge not 2. And Ya I know the feeling, I drive a 02 Ford F350, when I need to get "man stuff." Although I gotta say I've never used that term before when referring to lumber and feed.
Look on Google. You'll find them, as well as other horror stories about vehicles that have had big brother shut things down
And there you go - there is no such thing as "man stuff", but I get called "man", and "he" here because, remind me why you might assume that? Those who are in the know got my back though Just busting you - all is good
A Tesla, or any electric car would be perfect for me as much as I drive. Just a few problems. 1. Tesla’s are about impossible to buy in Michigan thanks to laws that protect the big three. 2. If I could buy one and it broke or needed service, a tow a couple hundred miles south or a drive to the nearest service center would be a bit impractical. 3. I’m too darn cheap and don’t like my money tied up in a depreciating asset. The wheels on my 05 Silverado haven’t turned square yet, and it hasn’t rusted into the earth so it’s going to hang around a while longer. If cost of driving was a concern I’d look for a gas engine econobox of some type. Back when I drove a lot for work I had a Chevy Cruze with a six speed manual. I could get well over 40 MPG without trying and could get close to 50 MPG if I tried hard.
Oh yes, there is indeed such a thing! several things actually. A few I'm not privileged to have are (1) a man bun (2) a man purse (3) a man car/tesla
Here's one way that Tesla stops rebuilt Tesla's. Rich Rebuilds Offers Advice On Buying A Salvage Or Rebuilt Tesla
That explains a lot more than the article and video I saw. Even if I bought a new one to look like a yuppie, it would be the dumbest purchase I could imagine. I would have to drive that thing in twenty below, and getting maybe 110 miles out of a charge in the cold? No way. Maybe if farmtec copied one for a few hundred bucks. I think the Holzfforma bird emblem would look sharp on the hood
Nothing like owning a stock with 1600+ PE The dipchits driving this horribly managed company to the moon are going to be left holding the bag
Sorry Horkn but I don't use google. Ever since I learned how much data google collects, I quit using that search engine. Call me crazy but I'm just not a fan of big brother snooping on me. I used duck duck go and found some people can hack a Tesla but only if they have Physical connection to the inside of the vehicle. Here is a quote from the discovery. "Fortunately, as this hack was performed in the name of improving security, Tesla will be releasing a security patch for the vulnerability to all Model S drivers on Thursday, before Mahaffey and Rogers present their research on stage at Def Con on Friday" Source: Tesla hacked: car can be shut down via connected laptop
Sorry my mistake I was actually replying to camber who originally said "man stuff" LOL!!! Its all good though, at the end of the day we are all just having fun, and learning new things, ya know, You seem like you'd be fun to have a beer with, have a good day.
You don't have a man bun? Or a man purse? What?? You are totally missing out my friend. You have obviously never considered the convenience of not having your hair in your face, nor have you considered the convenience of a fanny pack. Think long and hard my dear friend. . . And choose wisely . . . LOL!! JK!!
LOL. Ya as this video states Tesla can and will turn off supercharging for salvaged Tesla's, however this doesn't stop you from driving/owning a Tesla, nor does it stop you from owning/driving/charging a salvaged Tesla. Nor does it prove that Tesla can stop your car at any time cause "you don't technically own the car" as earlier stated.
