whats worse, not being a millionaire like your coworkers because you were too cheap, or having to do ALL of the work when they quit?
there was a small town were several coworkers became millionaires. They covered all the happiness most of them enjoyed and interviewed the one guy who declined to play. Man, he was in misery. Paul Harvey did a little spot on a man in the UK who faithfully played the same numbers for years. He didn’t one time, and those numbers hit. He did himself in. Couldn’t bear going the rest of his life on that error.
But the bigger news............ Mega millions is predicted to be very very close to one billion dollars!!!
I'll toss a couple of bucks at it now and then but I cannot see how anyone buys more than 1 ticket. Even a pool should have everyone toss in a dime as your chance is the same. Gonna happen or not, get used to not.
Same here. Once or twice a year I'll buy a ticket when it's all over the news. Otherwise, I don't think about it. BUT, I have a plan when I play. My sister is very lucky when it comes to gambling. I buy a ticket, then text her that I've done so, and tell her my new wealth will include a large chunk of land with a house for me and a house for her on it. Then SHE buys a ticket and tells me the same thing. Shes much more likely to win than I am.
A good friend and past Co worker of mine hit like $250K a few years back. If I recall correctly, he plays $78/day most workdays. That’s how he used most of his money. He was really excited to hit 250k but his math skills must be lacking. Best we could figure he was still behind about as much. But it was cool when he got it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just yesterday heard a guy telling of buying in on some stocks (mutual fund?) right when the market bottomed out last year...said he made couple hundred thousand by years end! Must have made a sizeable investment, but still
Well, the prize is listed as 1 billion dollars and once again, only one ticket will claim the amount! Somewhere from Michigan...........
