I don’t think I would get much done with scenery like that!

It is a Nice Background, but the wood heats our Home, so I have to cut wood, besides I do Enjoy running the saw.

I just have to Enjoy the scenery on the trip in and out and during Lunch, and “Other “ Breaks.

Living where I do, I get Lots of views like that, and I never tire of them.

This is the Sandy River, just a short walk from the house.

I hear the Fishing can be pretty good, but in this area, the regulations regarding Bait/Artificial Lures/ Fly Fishing ONLY/Catch and Release ONLY, can get pretty Onerous, and I haven’t yet gotten a straight answer about the River near our house.

Besides for us, Trout have lost their appeal, and would be mainly for BAIT.

My Wife’s Sister lives Near Nehalem on the Oregon Coast, about 10 minutes from the Nehalem Bridge Ramp, definitely prefer Chinook and Dungeness to Trout

Since we moved to the Mountain in 2016, we spend more time cutting wood than we do Fishing. We burn an average of 10 cords a year.

When we were still in Forest Grove, we were only about an hour and a half from Bonnie’s place, and that house had a Gas Fireplace :(:loco:  so we cut less than a cord a year for campfire :campfire:wood

Father, Please FORGIVE Me, for I have SINNED, but we now have a Wood stove that we use for our Primary Heat (Forced Air Electric Furnace, is a real Budget Buster) AND we also have a Fireplace in the Family Room,

Husky Man You have a beautiful area out there. I see no reason to buy fish at the grocery store.
