I did again today. Yesterday the "grounds keeper" was giving me a hard time because I was making piles of noodles cutting the rounds into quarters (the logs are in the driveway of a huge posh posh home). So today I made a timber dog like campinspecter uses and hoisted the big rounds into the trailer. Was quite a bit faster than noodling on site and much easier than tossing the still heavy quarters into the trailer. I don't want all those noodles at home so the downside is that now I will have to turn my splitter vertical to handle those big rounds. "Oh the Horror"! I hope none of my friends see me!

That is a real nice set up. Does the trailer have a dump feature? If not how do you get them out?
Most of the time ill use the Isocore to quarter/sixth the big rounds to load. Rarely noodle on site.
Ive cut/noodled in my driveway/yard and will put a tarp down to catch the sawdust then dump in the woods.

I have some bone spurs in my vertebra that make any more than some incidental splitting very painful, so that is out. The trailer has a tilt feature but no power up. I will just remove the tailgate and roll the rounds off next to the splitter. One way or another "Pops" will get it done!
