I’m going to save some straight pieces out of this and rip some 3/4 inch boards to let dry for projects, and process the rest today I hope. Will try to add some pics later.

That is a nice load Greg. Doesnt get much better than straight grained red oak for firewood or lumber.
Do you chain saw mill or have a sawyer?

Well, processed half the load into firewood and saved about half of straightest stuff. Will be taking my first load to the mill. Hope to have decent load for small projects CFD41AE8-24EE-4540-9873-345130588A15.jpeg CFD41AE8-24EE-4540-9873-345130588A15.jpeg 4B1A1F65-F2BC-4CF9-A03A-02A5423569EA.jpeg 56225C3C-B5CF-4C58-99F2-B18C11E2A12C.jpeg 093401A0-5D68-4CE2-A6E3-1AB08CC12023.jpeg BA202E20-34C4-4963-8425-FF55B9C08E60.jpeg

Taking to small independent mill recommended to me. This is my first load ever as I’m slowly building out a wood shop thought this could come in handy. No idea what I’m doing!

Is that your house. Beautiful place. Something special about log homes.
Sounds like me half the time!
