That looks like fun for this desk jockey!

It's coming down now, so hopefully I remember to get pics but guessers are calling for 10" here. Blower is ready, Kubota always eager for work.

I don't have pictures but I just finished plowing 30+" of snow. I have had more fun with my tractor than doing that!

That 12" - 18" turned into 35" of snow Woke up to about 28" had to go out the front door as the back door was blocked by snow I shoveled the walkway. Wife made homemade waffles and bacon after breakfast I waddled thru the snow to get the Bota I never stopped till lunch time then after lunch I plowed out my Sister, Son and Nephew. Never gave a thought to pic's, My Sons driveway took me over 2 hours 400' uphill. Boy am I glad I put those chains on yesterday!

We just got real internet this morning.:banana::banana::rootintootin: after 8-9 years on satelite :rootintootin::banana::rootintootin: we had to pay for a line extension (about a mile) but with a credit for a business acct, I felt it was a bargain for $1450.

Got my xmas present early this year and went ahead and installed it!! Looks like it tilts quite a bit. Now all i need to do is get a box blade lol (i have been using the dozer blade on the back of the winch to open up trails for a couple of years now). Oh also, if anybody wants a chipper, i have a bearcat chipper for sale. Its a 5", model 70554, less than 50 hours on it, $1450. 20201220_150414.jpg 20201220_150302.jpg 20201220_150257.jpg

Finally (almost) finished up the pile of butternut that I piled up earlier this year. Seemed to take forever. Splitter ran out of gas with about 10 pieces to split so I left them.

I had told myself no more bringing wood home till I finished that pile off.
Then I scored a load of maple and ash this morning.
You’d be proud though. I didn’t unload this till the old pile was done (nearly done).

So pile is done and new load of unsplit logs stacked neatly on pallets.
So I can continue scrounging once again.

After much Kubota neglect over the hunting season, today was a busy day!

Driveway dressing. Removed a few small trees and stumps to make more room for trailers. Cut and hauled out 17 logs from downed trees to add to the hoard. Split a bunch of hickory rounds that have been sitting since last winter.

Harley (Lab/Setter) helped all day. And, our oldest (14) worked for most of the day.

Then, after dark, we ended the day by taking a truckload to someone in need.

It has been a great day. Very blessed and very tired!
