The longer it takes him to post, the better the chances he's buckin' n' loadin'

Be curious how much wood you get out of there. Nice score!

Called the guy this morning and he was getting there by ten. I showed up before him and moved some lengths to a small log deck in front. IMG_3784.JPG He had staged two decks for me.
The big logs IMG_3783.JPG Forgot a before pic on the other staged deck. After the saws had their fun. L to R 261, 361, 460 IMG_3786.JPG They started a fire in the pit. I was cutting and loading right next to it. The wind kept blowing the smoke toward me. I dont think they liked the cold. Didnt faze me at all. I loved it. IMG_3788.JPG First load. Been a while since ive cut a heaping "buZZsaw" load IMG_3790.JPG IMG_3791.JPG
Went and unloaded, had to load for a delivery nearby and went back. Worked the big logs. 24" DBH. Biggest BL ive ever cut. IMG_3789.JPG
    Second load. IMG_3794.JPG IMG_3795.JPG IMG_3796.JPG
Still maybe a PU full of BL there including this log. IMG_3793.JPG He has some BL logs to pull from the woods, plus a couple small piles of smalls. One more tree (sugar maple) to come down and he offered it to me. I can easily get two loads tomorrow and have a delivery too
Im surprised im not beat as i type considering i went full force most of the day.
All in all a great day to be out working on wood.
Two loads plus some wood from earlier this week. They await the Fiskars. IMG_3798.JPG

You’re making us proud Brad! Is that a touch of Beech mixed in with the first load? Looks like another jackpot score for you

Amazing, as usual, lol. And that big BL is amazing, biggest I have seen pics of. The bark is cool.

Oh, how I'd love to have a bobcat with a grapple. And a dump trailer, lol.

Haha I know what you mean. Here I am gathering a little here and there, after a few trips I get a cord stacked up... Brad moves a couple cord every single time the earth makes another rotation. Makes me look like a feeble old man picking sticks up off his lawn after a windstorm :hair:

He was zipping around with it today. I watched him move logs, brush and chips. Handy little machine.
