    Will do!

After two small loads it is getting pretty warm.

I can already tell that I am not going to miss our open fireplace at all. Plus I won't be burning half as much wood.

28* out 69* in...its supposed to be another mild day today with a high of 39*. Either the weatherman is getting lazy or the weather is gonna be boring for the next few days cause the forecast is almost the same every day for the next few.

I've got some red maple, oak and walnut for this morning.

21f here. I loaded the insert with three splits and a medium round at 9:30 PM. When I got up to check it at 3:30 the auto fan was still running on low and there was a nice bed of coals.

I did notice the furnace kicked in as I was re-loading the stove. (thermostat is set at 68f)

Do trees have genders? I know some fruit plants do; kiwi for example.

I'm gonna wait to take my walk this morning..... it's 1 outside right now.

Looks like it's going to be a clear day and sunny.

It is really weird looking at temps. A narrow band of cold then a big rise in temps east and west of it.

We went to a nice insert from an open FP. My wife was very critical before installing it. She didn't want to lose out on the flames.

As soon as I put ours in, she was super happy. You'll definitely cut back on wood consumption.

That's about how my furnace works with our insert. T stat on furnace set at 67-68 as well. Our t stat is in the back hall, far away from the stove room. When you walk by in the am, it will move some cooler air to the sensor and it kicks the furnace on.

It's been above average temps here. 40-ish for day highs. Mid-20's overnight.

I'm burning some oak that I css'd in April 2017. Almost 4yr, and through 4 summers. It burns so nice. Good coaling after 7-8hr overnight burn.
