I have a Redmax GZ 7000 that I bought new a couple years ago and know that it is a rebadged husky. It's 68.8 cc's. I have been told it's a 570 husky can anyone confirm that. Btw I will say I am very happy with the saw, it usally wears a 24 inch bar but I use a 28 often. Pulls the 28 just as good as the 24. Thanks

No direct experience . However, every thing that I’ve read concerning the Reedman/Husqvarna connections ,has said the the 7000 is a 570 Husky .

It’s gotta be. The 570 is husky’s only big saw with a 1 pc cylinder/air filter cover. The other variants are all 2 pc

Never run one personally. Everyone says they’re a nice smooth saw though

Yes sir it is. Ran about 8 or 10 tanks through it then it needed adjusting so I cut the limiters off and it has been really strong.

If i could find one at a local dealer where i could get parts and service, and find a few hunderd dollars knocked off a 70cc saw then it would look pretty good to me.

I might add i am not crazy happy with the Stihl pricing today, so i can be open minded to other chainsaws.

I got very lucky with this one. I called my local dealer and was pricing sthil and husky 70cc saws and he said he had one more of these. He bought 12 at special pricing and l walked out with it for 495$.
