So I went down to my local husqvarna dealer today to pick up my husky 55 that was there for a go over, tune up and new bar and chain. The guy got it for me and took it outside to start it and on the second pull the pull rope broke. It was the owner and not the mechanic, he apologized and said he will replace it no cost and asked if I could come back Monday. Sure no problem. Well then I got looking at the saws before I left and he comes over and shows me some of the used saws he had, showed some smaller one more like my 55 and then he said I also have this 372XP that just got traded in, took it out side and started her up, ran nice, had a tag for $350. He started tossing out some prices, then said tell you what, if you wanted to trade the 55 I would do $200. Talked to him a little more as I didnt want to sell the 55 And walked out the door with it for $250. 24in almost new bar and brand new chain on it. huskihl If your alright with me changing the saw i would rather send this one to have you mod!
Yep, you got a good deal, I wish we had a good used saw shop, locally, for checking out the occasional opportunity like that.
Dont know Husky too well but thats seems like you got a great deal! New year started out well for you!
You ain't kidding haha. After I get that all cut up it's out to the woods, got a lot of cutting I was eye balling all deer season from the stands. Plus got 5 trees at work I was asked if I wanted to take, of course I said yes.
It's always nice to have multiple hoarding options. It's not easy for everyone to have a full pipeline. Best of luck with new saw.
That is a great saw right there, looks like it was very lightly used. I know what they go for new so I'd say you stole that thing, enjoy it!!
