I mentioned in another thread not having mastered use of the Stihl 2-in-1 file guide gizmo. This below is the technique I have been using and but it's not working for me, I'm doing something wrong. This fellow is very eager and gets it done. I like easy and it seems simple enough with this gadget. I've got a real good wrist action like him. What's up?

EDIT: Guys... for the treat of your life, watch 30 seconds of the video above.

Wow! There's hitting metal when cutting rounds....then there's that guy doing the same by hand. Wonder how many chains he goes through a season?

First confusing post of ‘21. :tears:

Search for info on a progressive raker gauge. It will maintain the depth gauges perfectly.

Fast forward to 16:00 on this one.

Is this vid for real? I could not get the audio to play but watching it was enough! The way he uses a file is doing no favors for the chain, file or himself. Maybe with audio the joke is explained. :picard:

The post is a joke. The way the guy in the video uses the 2-in-1 with the hard back-and-forth motion is crazy. I have no idea if he is serious or not. Youtube commenters gave him hell, lol.

I couldn’t make it past the first ten seconds of him filing both directions and using it like a scrub brush.

Wow, that's some dry humor right there. If it wasn't for the screen text right before he filed it, I would have taken this guy seriously.

Gotcha. As soon as I hear someone drag a file backwards I’m out, so I didn’t watch very long.
