Morning All So sorry to hear about Judy passing away. Our prayers are for Dennis and his family.

Power came back on after being off 9 hours. This morning campinspecter is rolling up extension cords and I get to put the kitchen back together. We get a break in the weather today and then another storm coming in tonight and tomorrow morning. I hope the ferry is running tomorrow as we were planning to visit Mom.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good New Years morning, everyone.

We had a very nice, stress-free evening. I hope everyone did.

I'd like to move some wood from my SIL's this morning. Not sure what my friend with the PU is doing.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

    Nice moon this morning. IMG_20210101_24718.jpg
I split wood yesterday and I will do the same today, before all the rain, sleet, snow, or whatever yuck gets here.
Start off the new year right!

    Finally off for 3 days...:dex::thumbs:...
Had a slow drive home this morning, it was as foggy outside as I was inside... 0101210551_HDR.jpg
Well, we're gonna fix the New Year's Day meal, probably grill some pork chops, have some butter beans and collards. Maybe have a brownie for dessert. My hunny will be watching the GA BullDawgs at noon today.

Good morning and Happy New Year folks. Here in these parts we will continue the sauerkraut and pork tradition.
Miss Julie added some kielbasa for what IMO is a yummy twist. Going over to my SIL and nieces for yep you guessed it
pork and sauerkraut. Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning All. Wet and windy - a wild Jan. 1 day. I am hoping the ferry runs today as we are going to Mom's for the afternoon.
We went to bed early last night but Shadow had to get up and go out at midnight. I think she heard a bit of the celebrations. Fireworks and gunshots.

Everyone have a great first day of the new year.

Good morning everyone and happy new year!

We will be doing the pork and sauerkraut thing here too JoeinO. Kielbasa added is a delicious touch. My wife will do that from time to time.

River of rain pouring down on us right now. Real ugly out there.

Great news! campinspecter's great nephew and his partner had their baby girl 23 days early. Wild night as she didn't quite make it to the hospital so she gave birth to the baby in an ambulance on the side of the road. Apparently not the first baby of 2021 in BC but really close.

    Good morning, all.

About 40f. Foggy. Drizzly. A coating of snow overnight. Should all melt. Plowable snow forecasted to start early hours of Monday,

I'm glad I was as able to move wood yesterday. A few pictures at the bottom of- Some tree felling

Other than some grocery shopping, I'm not sure what's up for today.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! A sloppy mess outside, rain on top of an inch of snow. I hope it melts, because if it doesn't, it freezes up tonight. I've got my grandson today, so I won't have time to do any cleanup. So glad I had a few days outside to do some splitting!
I've been burning 2 year old sugar maple, and it's as good if not better than red oak. Nice coals in the morning too. jK3OyL2.jpg
    Rejoin the mycelium, all!

Is the SM from WeldrDave's? I have a short rack of SM from there. Css'd 10/19. I've not burned SM before. I plan to burn it 21-22. I could probably burn it this year but I have plenty of 3yr red oak ready.
