We’re in a cold spot now as well. It’s welcomed though, this new wood furnace is blowing us out!

We had some winter temps, glad we had some dry oak and hickory for the stove. 1226200535.jpg 1227200537.jpg We had some GA icebergs...lol 1226200926.jpg 1226200926a.jpg After work Saturday, I just needed my woodyard fix, got started @8PM, 33°
splitting more hickory, shed when I started 1226202013_HDR.jpg Quit @10, 26°, almost finished that row. 1226202206.jpg
I worked on it Monday morning and finished that row, adding some uglies on the stacks behind it.
Then we delivered another load of oak. 1228201041_HDR.jpg

Them's NH temperatures! I generally skip working outside when it's in the 20's, unless I have to shovel.
No slippers for Christmas, eh. You must make a very precise list for Santa!

I had to come to work those mornings, so I was in and out.
The night I split, was too bad, flannel lined jeans, shirt and my heavy Carhartt jacket. 12 HR shifts/with extra days to work really limits my firewood time.
Yes ma'am, he doesn't get milk and cookies for slippers, socks or undies... :rofl: :rofl:

Nice presents. Didn't know Archer products were sold in the US. I use Archer chains, they are good and a lot cheaper than Stihl or Oregon.

We normally get mid-upper 20's for the coldest, the last few years.

I ordered it off eBay. Be my first time using Archer. I have a couple Oregon chains, mostly Stihl.
Just don't like the "Made in China" part.
I thought it might have been made in Australia.

We delivered a .8 cord load of oak Wednesday morning. They had ordered it late last winter, we cut it in Jan/Feb, been stacked in a shed. They want that shed full again for next winter...:tree::saw::axe::stacker::woodsign: 1230201016.jpg

Totally agree with you mate about made in China. We were a self sufficient country until about 30 years ago until our idiot politicians allowed our manufacturing to go to China. China have been carrying on like cooked chooks to Australia lately, the politicians want to try and appease them but normal Aussies want to tell them to get stuffed, there is a ground swell now to boycott Chinese products.
