Good morning everyone! We've got sun today, but with a breeze, so bundled up it should be OK to work outside. I got some odds and ends split yesterday, and my shoulder felt better after than when I started. Feels good this morning, too.
My son told me that my grandson told him the whole plot of the Wizard of Oz, after watching it with me on Sunday. His favorite part was "the man behind the curtain". Kind of stuck with all of us, too.

So glad you shoulder is feeling better. Did you use any pain relieving cream on it? Voltaren gel really helps my sore or inflamed joints. It is OTC now.
Maybe the downtime with yiur grandson was what you really needed.

I've been curious about Diclofenac. I'll try it out, my husband has some Voltaren gel that he got as a prescription.

That's the plan. Filling racks as they empty.

I wish it would get cold and stay cold. I'd then be able to move more oak quarters from my SIL's, without leaving ruts. Oh well. No complaints.

Good morning everyone! I didn't get a chance to say hello when I woke up. These holiday weeks tend to just have the days melt together. It seems everyone wants a load of molasses when we have a short week :hair:

Oh well its better to be busy than not. Have a great day all :salute:

Morning sir. Or afternoon. Didn’t sleep well since my joints hurt so bad. Been up since 1 am. Fish have been terrorized. On a whim I went to a spot nobody has fished this year. I had caught crappie there years back. You could walk across the fish! Big fish too. Get another half pound of minners in the morning and thrash them some more.

Afternoon all. Whirlwind trip down island to replace my new monitor. It had a broken screen. Unfortunately they didn't have another one there so it has been ordered.
Yesterday was one of those :bug: days. First thing in the morning, I put a pot roast in the slow cooker and we went outside and moved firewood into the empty bin in the wood shed. When we came back in, I realized that we had had a power outage so I turned on the computers and fixed the clock on the stove. 4:30 PM rolls around and I go to get dinner on the table. The slow cooker was sitting there blinking, wanting to know if it should be on high or low. Roast not cooked. Kraft dinner and broccoli for dinner. In the meantime I found out that what was wrong with the new monitor was that it was broken.

Today as I was knitting socks while traveling I found I had knitted about 1 1/2" wrong. What's with retirement anyway. I think I have brain meltdown or I have started too many projects and not finished anything. What a dilemma.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

    Good morning, all.

Round 2 of 2 at the dentist this morning, for a crown. No feelings of royalty, however.

If I feel up to it, I might move some wood up to the deck.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy.

Good morning. I am starting a stay at home vacation today through Monday. I will be starting things out by clearing the driveway of snow then hitting the lake for a few hours this morning.

We usually head up to our cabin over New Years but this year my wife's mother is having increasing health struggles and we are going to continue helping with her hospice care in their home.

Our stove dealer said our insert is arriving at his shop on Monday, and our installation is scheduled for Tuesday. I can't wait to start burning wood more efficiently and enjoying some extra heat through the coming winters.

Yes sir, brother, we had a good day, started off low 30's, our group got started good about 9:00 on the ramp, we were home before 1:00, then nap time again.
The finished product. 1229201245_HDR.jpg Our friends Steve and Linda Nelson. We have known them since '88. He has cancer, and trouble walking.
