I love Hannaford's. I shopped there all the time when I lived in Maine.

When we visited New England in Fall of 2019, I made sure to stop there for snacks and beverages while traveling. They even have my favorite Mrs Frannies flavored seltzers. You can't get that brand here in Wisconsin :(

Frannies is made by Polar. We can get polar seltzer here at our stores. Nope. It's the nasty tasting "flavored" seltzer. Boooooo!

Mwalsh9152 , regarding your wife and SANTA!!!

That's my wife too. Every year he goes crazy for the Santa tracker. I mention it, or if it's on the news, she gets all happy.

I suppose I do the same as her when beer, guns, or firewood is mentioned.

    I'm on my 3rd old fashioned. Fwiw. That's just a primer. :coldone::coldone:

Funny you mention that...I've never had one. But was gifted the ingredients for making it... from a coworker in our little internal exchange... I guess he made the simple sugar with something special... Figured I'd try it this weekend at somepoint...

They are super simple to make, but a few variations.

I'm a Brandy "sweet" old fashioned guy. With fruit ( aka Cherries). IMHO if you like sours, and not sweets, then you get the olives and pickles veggies. Don't be mixing "sour veggies" in my " "sweet" drink. You want veggies, order a sour, not a sweet.:BrianK:
    Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashioned.

Outside of old fashioned's though, I don't like Brandy though. We've switched to the J Bavet Brandy my grandpa liked and it makes it really good.

We've got the same family of 5 deer here, bedded on the edge of our yard. They don't even get up or move when they see me taking the pups out.

Granted, these are some of the same deer that we feed and they allow my wife to practically walk right up to them to feed them leftover veggies and fruit.

Shop with list! or as my daughter in-law does, do curbside pickup. No impulse buying that way

On the brine, I put everything you mentioned except cloves. My wife hates cloves, so I dont have that in the house.

I have still not touched my rifle. I've been so damm busy this year between the new business, and my new job that actually makes me work every day that Ive had little time for myself. Its almost new years, and I still have some firewood left that needs to be put in the shed for this winter, then move next years into the sun. The ammo prices as you mentioned have been a reason not to be too concerned. You almost need a second mortgage for ammo! I like your idea on the 7.62 though.

Merry Christmas all! Crazy day yesterday, got home from the inlaws Italian extravaganza at about 10:00. I put Charlotte to bed while Santa did her thing. This might be the latest there hasnt been a kid up tearing into presents ever. Since Charlotte usually ends up in our bed anyway at night, I just put her in there from the get go, hoping we wouldnt get a 4:30 SANTA CAME! wakeup. So far so good!

Merry Christmas to each and every one. JESUS CHRIST, the REASON for the SEASON.
Accept, love and cherish the WONDERFUL GIFT from GOD, our FATHER. A KING became a servant, HE was born, so HE could DIE for us, HIS GIFT...ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN with HIM...
I pray if you don't know HIM in your HEART as your SAVIOR, please accept HIS FREE GIFT.
May you each have a Blessed and wonderful CHRISTMAS season.
