Good morning everyone! Another busy day for me. The other driver I work with will be off until after Christmas unless more loads come in. His FIL passed away yesterday.

Good morning everyone! Haircut today, it's getting pretty shaggy. It'll be colder today, and if the snow has a nice crust on it, I'll drag some wood over to the basement door. I've been burning oak, cherry, and poplar, and I'm hankering for something new, some sugar maple. Also going to make some chicken stock.
I saw a forecast for a warm February, I really hope that happens, so I can catch up on my splitting.
Here's one for Brandon and Jeff! ellie_possum_72.jpg
    Have a great day!

JESUS, be with this man's family, let YOUR PRESENCE be felt. Cover them with YOUR PEACE and COMFORT.
    Amen.
It is especially hard around the holidays.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Got a man coming to pick up another load of oak this morning, then probably split more hickory. Got a few small errands to run before Christmas.
Stay warm, be encouraging, spread the GOOD NEWS, JESUS CHRIST is born.

No wooding today, aside from feeding the stove. I brought wood up to the deck yesterday. I'll be set for several days.

I do have splits to move and stack. Doing that will be easier this weekend. We still have a solid 6in of snow pack. On Christmas day, we're supposed to get 2in of rain, and temps pushing 60f. That should melt the snow we have. Colder temps will help firm up the ground.

Morning All. Temps sitting just above freezing with clear skies. We got to see the Christmas star last night as we headed down to catch the ferry home. Lovely day yesterday. I put up a small tree for Mom and a few other ornaments. Not too many as she has a very inquisitive cat.
House cleaning, bookkeeping today but I hope to get to the sewing room as well.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning all. About 28* and the sun is trying to peek out.
The winter storm watch is saying some places could get up to a foot. Pretty vague so far.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Good morning, folks.

I hope everyone has a stress-free day today and tomorrow.

Time to batten any hatches that need to be battened. Big storm arrives overnight, heavy rains and winds. At least it'll be warm.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Bring it on! Melt, melt, melt! Looking forward to the after effect, frozen bare ground.

Good morning everyone! Maybe it will be warm enough today for me to vacuum my car. It is full of sawdust and wood dirt. I don't anticipate any scrounges, so I could enjoy its cleanliness for awhile.
My shoulder had been sore, but this morning something popped, and it feels better now.
Husband is home more and more, his replacement at work is getting the hang of things, allowing husband to ease into retirement life.
