Good morning everyone! We'll be above freezing today, so snow will probably fall off the roof. If so, I'll shovel it. Also have to take my car in for a broken valve stem on the wheel. MAYBE some splitting, to justify my food consumption. rzGsAsP.jpg
    Happy winter solstice!

Looks like before long he'll be taking over your splitting. You need to get a 2nd are and be right there splitting with him. Lol
Really like the fire pic. That blue flame is pretty.

Good afternoon all. As Molly said, wint we solstice starts today. Looking forward to longer days.
About 36* and the snow is melting. It is hanging over the porch roof about 4/5*. So will be sliding off soon.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Good morning, everyone.

A few non-hectic days leading up to Christmas. We must be doing something right.

Big rains(2in+) and high temps(60f) are forecasted for Christmas eve through Christmas day. Bye bye snow cover.

No big plans for Christmas. I'll be bringing my folks here for a simple ham dinner.

Mrs Mikeinma, will bake up an apple and a mince pie. She'll also bake some breakfast breads, cranberry nut, and date nut. I'm happy to be out of the kitchen, and out of her way.

I'll probably split some wood this morning. Just piling it up. It'll get stacked over the weekend.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! A nice sunny day in the 40's on tap today, so I'll get out and stomp around in the slush. It may be easier to pull wood over the snow, than to wheelbarrow it through the mud in a few days. Nothing is easy this time of year.
I brought presents down to my grandson's house last Sunday, so we'll stay home for Christmas. Probably roast a small ham.
