She's a nice looking dog! She has an intelligent look in her eyes. I really hope that she and the cats can be friends.

How is Luna taking to Holly? Have they interacted yet?

 

We just did introductions this afternoon. Holly in crate Luna walked around cautious. I gave them both treats. I stepped out of the room and Holly barked and freaked Luna out. We will try again at some point. Little steps. Went better than expected.

 

Best buddies at some point I hope!

 

40 minutes in the snow today, and she really likes to walk. Holly met some neighbors and was fine.

 

Friends of ours in town were taken for $1500 last month.

Santa brought Buddy a ramp early, to help him get up into the car and truck. Getting used to it inside first. Think it's gonna work.

 

Dew has steps but cant get the hang of them.

Put Buddy on the couch to start. Only way off was down the ramp. When he heard FOOD in his bowl this monin... his azz caught on fire and down the ramp he went. Been up and down a few times since. He's got bad hips, so it was time. He's settling in well here and we're mighty glad we found him. Keeps me movin my fat azz...

 

Good he's getting the hang of your place stinny and pretty sure that exersice thing isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

 

Holly had a good walk through the woods this morning. Falling asleep to Led Zepplin. She is too.

I think a man or I should say someone who was less of a man, may have raised a hand to her prior. She is slowly building trust with me. Lots of slow movements and hugs. She is a shadow to my wife.

Midwinter, no introductions yet, except through the glass doors. No aggression shown towards the cats.

The foster recommended a 2 week "reset" of no introductions, travel, meeting other dogs, etc... It lets the dog figure out what is around her and not overwhelm her.

Booms here was running the roads for a couple weeks before the youngest boy finally caught him,then he came out to our place.
He didnt want a thing to do with me for around 4 months? He was definitely abused before by a male as he was fine around Mrs Loon.
Now i cant sit down without him on my lap. Good luck with Holly eh.
