Good frosty morning, all.

12f here. Clear and calm. Wood stove heat feels nice.

Not sure what the day has for me. I know I'll head out for groceries, and to scrape up snow as it softens.

Good morning everyone! Another cold morning, 6° . It's a pleasure to burn oak, and not get cooked out of the house. I have zip desire to be making firewood, all I want to do is throw it in the stove.
Today's outdoor project will be shoveling off the deck, and whatever falls off the roof.
We may drive out at dusk to see some Christmas lights. Have a fun Saturday!

Good morning y'all......Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. I brought a ham and steak biscuits hime from Hardees. My hunny cooked the egg and cheese to go on it. It's a frosty 24° again this morning. We have another load of oak to deliver today, then we need to restock our wood boxes. Need to work on getting a load of hickory split for next week too. .

Morning All. Wet again this morning. It really rained all day yesterday. We didn't get the Christmas tree up so that will be Sunday's project. I had a really nice time working on our children's church packages for today. The pastor's wife will hand them out today.

Chaz had to run an errand and right after he left Holly actually laid down on her new pillow for a few minutes. I think she is starting to get use to it.

I already had two on the ice including this one for our meal tonight. She came in fast, hit the decoy and I was able to catch her before getting out of sight with a good holding shot, even though it was farther back than I usually spear them.


This one fell off the spear after I hit it with a spine shot, but I was able to re-spear it before it twitched out of the hole.

Well.... I went about going through a list of outdoor things, that I had in my head.

Then... It's is an obsession. I decided to get some splitting done.


It's the pile of splits to the right of the upright timber.

I had snowblowed a path to that splitting stump and the rack of rounds.


Felt good to be outside. Overcast, but calm.
