Sad to say mine is also bigger Brotha...I think someone was making a joke about your Orange Smoothie, if he only knew how many of those "waters" you can drink.

After 4 of his Pomegranate, Basil with a tinge of Rosemary 9% beers, well Nuff said!!

Anyway, over the last few days, serviced the small stove(accentra),did run the big stove in the basement for a few days (Integra), because I can.I would like to say because of unnaturally cold, but not true, just seems we are having a "normal" cold fall, beginning of winter, just has not happened in a few years.I guess global warming stopped.Road trip to wallyworld, got cat food/litter/treats,so cats are happy, now. Stopped and got some cool stuff from harbor freight.Got oil and ethanol free gas for this generator project, perhaps over the weekend i can give results.Other than that, just normal cold, but not much snow.Makes me wonder if the ski slopes are even open out here?

22" of white chit from yesterday's storm. Actually, some places it measures 18 and some 24, so averaged it out - assume the difference is from drift. Agrees with official totals from two of the towns that abut mine so I comfortable with that number.

Town grader came thru after dark last night, so I gotta get out this morning and clean up that berm. Also need to dig out the steps to the front door and the ramp to the shed. Can hardly wait for the roof to start dumping.

I can't complain about the amount of snow, we have a business area in Endicott, NY and at noon they were showing at almost 4 feet of snow. Areas directly NW of my town in NH got hit hard.

Very impressive for a storm that only lasted 12-15 hours.

Dammit, not 5 minutes after typing that last post, the roof dumped. ARGH, that front porch is going to take all day to dig out. Guess I also have to clear the driveway closer to the garage before I can get to the berm at the end.

Consider yourself lucky with the roof dumpings, people with the shingle roofs are holding their breath and jump when the house makes a cracking noise
I'm in the same boat as you, those dumpings can be troublesome to clean, but much easier than shoveling on a roof which is two cleanings after the job is done :D

Yes, take it from me, a roof that self-dumps is a LOT easier than climbing up on a roof to shovel, and then have to shovel underneath it AGAIN, or spending hours with a roof rake and then shoveling that AGAIN.

And that is why I replaced the existing roof (that was in poor condition) with a metal roof!

On another note, my tent garage did not last long enough to get it roof raked. I called my home insurance and they don't expect an adjuster to be ut until next week. They couldn't help me with figuring out who, or what type of business I could call to get it cleaned up enough to get the truck out - which has at least a hole in the windshield (you can see shards on the dash in the last picture). Stupid thing is that it must have just happened. I was out finishing the shoveling and snowblowing, and I cleaned the snow off the back window of the truck while doing it - sure I would have noticed it at that time.

Approx a foot here 20 miles south of boston. My fifteen year old Ariens cleaned it like nothing. I put a dual pulley kit in it last spring. Works as good as my neighbors newer model. ✌️
