Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Yep. Lots of it. Glad to have it too, as it supports my "work from home" lawn tractor business. Made quite a bit of $$$$$ during the Covid "stay at home" months buying, fixing up, & selling them.
BTW, the pic is about 2 weeks old, after it was cut.......looks the same today.

 

I got all set for the big storm. Extra pellets in the house, dog toys and bones picked up in the yard, snowblower gassed and waiting at the door to the shed and all the cars parked so I can do a good cleanup of the driveway. I have been watching the temperature here. Still no snow. It was 25 degrees and now it's 32 with the wind off the ocean. I'm hitting the hay and there better be snow on the ground when I wake up!

 

16* and heavy snow here - but the snow flakes themselves are very fine. Even though there is little wind, it is drifting everywhere including on my back porch that has a 5' overhang. The road plow went by about 1/2 an hour ago for its first pass. The snow is so fine it looks foggy



A couple of days ago they said we would be lucky to get anything out of the system as it would stay south. Then it was 2-4", then yesterday morning it was 6-12". As of last night I'm in the 10-18" area.

 

Love the house, but we are gonna have to work on your lawn striping!! LOL

 

Neighbor is out snow blowing in shorts.

 

Nothing wrong with that I've done it too , get it done and come inside to a nice toasty pellet heated home and crack open a Blue Smoothie

 

17* here now, have maybe 6-8" of white stuff but were in a totally clear area according to the live radar, nothing falling right now. But as storm moves on we'll be back in some more later this morning I guess.

House nice and warm 72*. P43 in "renegade" mode (room temp/manual, feed on 2, Skytech set to run mode). Warm house, hot coffee, kicking back watching a ton of birds on the feeders. Not a bad morning.

Same here , I put a bit of anti freeze in my coffee just not ready to go out and clean up the white chit yet .

 

LOL. I don't worry about that....as long as it gets cut.

 

I guess I've just never understood the WHY.....I'm sure you all own long pants. But, to each his own.

 

31° 0.00" of white chit. Haven't cut grass in 2 months.
