Yeah it was, with about 8-10' of rope. When I was a kid my buddy use to pull me around on a sled. Quickly learned shorter rope can lead to head taken a header into the rear of quad.

Last night was the coldest of the season so far, 19F, big deal lol. Got a dusting of snow from the storm that's further east. We've had no snow & no real cold weather so far. 28F now with an E wind. Elm & Cherry in the boiler.

And so it begins, the so very much hyped "Blizzard" , give me a break. 18 inches of snow in New England is, wait for it, NORMAl. We deal with it. By the way, wind driven snow just started. Everyone here (2 sons, girlfriend, Mrs. MTmm) are very excited to get a decent storm. We love our snow. Now back to your regularly schedueld Colder here what's your temp thread.

When I fried up the OWB last night, I noticed the sky was clearing. Gonna be cold I thought.

Yup, forecasters missed it by a mile again.

    1 out there now.

20*out 67* in.....if I had to guess I would say we got 8-10" of snow. I will measure in a little bit before I leave for work. I'm in no big rush this morning.

Elm, ash and cherry this morning.

16F and 71F. Another dark moonless overcast night. Sure feels cold outdoors! Must be damp. Barely enough snow on the ground to make it white here. We are looking at dry moderate weather for days, unlike the E.coast!

Same here. We were supposed to get 16-20". We ended up with about 12". While still a significant amount, that is quite a difference and not worth the sky is falling mentality they like to push.

I guess as long as people continue to fall for it.....:headbang:

    Edit: forgot the obligatory pics...

I’m in western New York. It’s 17* outside, and 72* inside. Have some ash burning nicely in the stove. I’m only seeing two, maybe three inches of snow on the ground this morning.
