    Good morning, folks.

Chance of flurries today ushers in a few days of colder air. The forecast is threatening us with a "wintry weather event" for Wednesday night, through Thursday. Up to a foot of snow....somewhere. Track of storm is currently unknown.

I'll be bringing wood up to the deck. I'm sure there'll be some black locust splits mixed in this time.

I'll also split some wood and get it stacked.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Aa Mike mentioned, we are under the gun for more snow. I've got some prepping to do around here, but I also need to get more oak out of my friend's yard. The hard part is pulling it up a slope to the driveway on my hand truck. With 12 inches of snow on the ground, it will be impossible. But, if the oak is buried until spring, it'll be fine.
Retired life is so mellow, I create artificial crises to get excited about something! CJ930ec.jpg Have a good Monday!

I'll also do a walk-around the woodyard, picking up any fallen branches that would impede the snowblower moving through the area. I've broken my share of shear pins and have extras on-hand.

Sounds like you may get more than us. Although, after the way they blew it on the last storm...

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. I'm writing this withba HAPPY heart. I'm finally off for 4 days...woo-hoo...don't know how to act. We are getting the RAIN part of the storm that is headed y'alls way. Should be gone by later today. Going to Bass Pro in Macon this morning to finish shopping, going to drop off a box of sweet taters and a cheesecake my hunny made to a friend for Christmas on the way. We have our Christmas supper at church tonight. That should be fun.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Morning All although it is nearly noon. Definitely don't have much of a schedule when you are retired. Woke up to clear skies after rain yesterday evening. Wind warning in effect for tonight. Got the Christmas sewing done. Now for the wrapping, boxing and sending part. I hope to have it all down by tomorrow morning for mailing. I was up early this morning so I got my sewing room cleaned up for the next projects. Vacuuming the floor is the last step.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, everyone.

With a clea day ahead, I'll be back out splitting and stacking wood. Then a few errands.

They are now forecasting 12-18in of snow for Thursday. I'll have today and most of tomorrow to prep.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning! Meh, 12-18", I just saw a forecast for 1-3" up here. Light fluffy stuff too, not the glop we got last time. And starting Sunday, temps back in the 40's.
So, I'm not going overboard on the storm prep. I'll get some more oak from my friend's yard, maybe all of it. Get it stacked in the back yard, throw a tarp over it, and wait for warmer days. jDKhG1h.jpg Have a good one!
