    My better half's son that works for a tree company was doing line working my town for a few weeks prior to the storm.

    He said he couldnt believe the people here. Always pleasant, some brought the crew coffee, snacks, a guy that does maple sugering gave them all syrup, even the detail cop brought them coffee or breakfast from the General Store several times-they all got hooked on the breakfast burritos there which are :drool:

    Jay, I officially retired this August. I worked 12 hour shifts in my day job then did mechanic stuff and snow plowing and some construction stuff for a friend of mine. Now that I don't have to punch a clock, everyone wants me to do things for them. I find I am busier than I ever was. The last two months I have worked almost every day. It's not as bad as it sounds 'cause I only work a few hours a day and those hours are when it's convenient for me :) I charge $50 an hour and have averaged 20 hours a week. I'm taking time off now until after Christmas but I'll be back at it soon after. I used to be worried that I would have nothing to do or find myself needing some cash but I guess I don't have to worry. I have a friend who's a manager at my local Home Depot and she has asked me to come work for them but I find that freelancing is much better!

    My guess is we get nothing here on the seacoast of NH. I'm sure it will be cold but I think this will be a southern storm. I miss snow!

    Yeah reports I've watched today say it will be mostly a SE MA storm, SE NH may not get much. Not sure why I worry as I'm also recently retired and don't have to worry about getting the driveway cleared by 7AM anymore.

    I don't care if we get 2" or 12", I aint driving into work.

    Oh wait, they won't let me in the building anyway since I (and hundreds of coworkers) have been ordered to work from home (as we have for the last 10 months). Guess it will be just another day at the (home) office.
