    I am just catching up on this Dennis. I am so sorry to read this. I will be praying for Judy and you as well as the rest of your family. I hope she regains he strength and gets through this so she can be at your side for many more years, I still need to meet y'all!

    Hospitals will try to keep you as long as possible, even if it is just for "observation" and once they keep you so long (I think it is 8 hours but could be mistaken), they get to charge for an entire day (24 hours) of room, medical staff, general monitoring etc. Firmness with them is the only way to deal with it and it sounds like you were.

    I hope she is back home by now and comfortable. Thoughts and prayers for you both.

    Continued frustration... Had her taken in for a cath. Ambulance supposed to wait and bring her home. Judy called me in a panic as emergency wanted to keep her and run test after test. I'll skip details except to say I was able to talk to doctor and lay down the law. Okay, he will stop. Later I get a call from a nurse saying she is ready to go home. Okay, send her home! Now they can't find an ambulance and we'd have to take her home. She has no strength...but I was told they would help get her in a car. Long story short, I brought her home and with help we were able to get her in house and in bed.

    Had a decent night and I even got a good nights sleep for a change. Feel better now. I had to get up only twice with her overnight.

    So glad she’s home and you were able to get some much needed rest. I will continue to pray for healing, patience, comfort, and wisdom from all involved. Wish I were closer to assist, but you know this whole family is praying for you.
