Good day for it! You're just taking the one trunk? What do you think about the other two left standing?

Hope you get a good load of wood from it. Will the deck guy also build the new one?

Good morning everyone! It should be another warmish day. Lots of melting yesterday. Today, I will go over to my friend's house and see what I can cut. There are two big oak butts and one maple, a bunch of skinny dead oak on the ground, and a pile of big dead oak sections. I'll choose something to chip away at. Pretty sunrise today! You all take care of yourselves today.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Got breakfast for my hunny on the stove, going to split some hickory this morning so we can back the truck up to the other shed and load some oak to deliver. Naptime after dinner (lunch for the city folks) going back to night shift for the weekend. Fill in for hurt co-worker. Got another load of 16" oak to deliver in the morning...
Lend a hand, share a smile, remember the Golden Rule...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

I'm getting at least 2 estimates for both demo and rebuild. I'll see if the demo guy does/knows anyone that builds decks.

There's lots of places to do either task. I'm trying to go with word-of-mouth references

My dad said his neighbor knows a tree climber/cutter. I'm all for that. We'll see how that progresses.

Thats funny... I totally understand... I still get the verification of what meal I'm talking about... True story... So it goes like this... When we (me and the better half) were getting started. I invited her over to my apartment for dinner. I believe I was smokin' a whole chicken and at 11:30 i called her and asked if she was on her way yet for dinner. She said no... I said dinners about done... and she then said I thought you were talking about the dinner at night... we had a discussion of what meal was called what...so thats been our little inside joke....

Same thing happened with us when we invited our new pastor for Sunday dinner. He started talking about having to meet a realtor later in the afternoon and he wouldn't be able to make it. I had to explain our dinner time was around noon. He came and we enjoyed having him.
I grew up eating breakfast, dinner and supper, in that order. Lunch was something you had around 2:30 or 3. Noon meal was always the larger meal of the day.

Good morning! I have been putting in some long weeks at work and looking forward to some time off this winter out on the ice. Speaking if which, it is slow in building this year. I can't even walk everywhere on it, let alone get the quad out around here yet.

    Good foggy morning.

Temps in low 40's. Rain this afternoon.

Seeing that there's still soft, sloppy snow around, I'll be organizing my toolshed again. Too wet and mushy to move wood around.

I'll also probably get rid of some ashes by broadcasting it around the yard.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
