    Does anybody know the part number for this plastic chain catcher? I tried looking at the parts diagram but it's nowhere to be found. Mine has a nice crack in it.

    I actually watched a guy start his saw with the sheath on and made half of an attempt to remove it with the saw running LOL. Thankfully he thought better of it before he actually grabbed onto it

    The problem is I had initially bought what I thought was the correct stihl scabbard - said it was for 16-18" bars. Well, it was 2" short. What the heck. They should have made it 18" so that it would fit an 18" bar properly. So I returned that and got some el cheapo on ebay and it's black instead of bright orange.....so it was incognito. :D That's my excuse I'm rolling with it.
