Typically burn 2-4 cords a year. I would say average is 3. Typically 8-10 face cord.

So, more than 3 years, but a lot of the ash I am splitting and stacking now will go to bundle sales next year.

Super sweet rack. What is the top member? Rough sawn stock?

The original deck on our house was all cedar from the late 80s. The decking was 2x6s. We replaced the deck in 2019. The top members are the old 2x6 cedar decking boards. The surface is a little rotten but interior of the boards are in good shape.

I burn about the same amount each year. What do you burn it in?

A Vermont Castings Defiant 1610 i think is the model number. Just radiant heat.

I burn most of mine in a psg wood caddy furnace and the rest in a morso 3440 stove.

It came in the house when we bought. I think it does a really good job. I had always thought i wanted a wood furnace in the house, but I'm happy with the stove. I would like to put a Wood Furnace in my detached 32x48 shop/garage. But gotta figure out what insurance will allow. maybe I'll build a little hut outside and do the burning out there with piping going to the building.
