25* out 69* in....it's gonna be mild but showers are expected today. I think the high is supposed to be around 50*.

The NC30 is loaded with some cherry, elm and walnut.

28 here maybe getting up to around 43 during the day. Put some ash on top of the embers from last night and loaded some beech on top of that. Nice blaze going before the coffee was even made. Need to finish some work outside before the snow flies tomorrow (latest report says a chance for up to a foot depending on the track of the storm).

We get single digits and even a minus every once in a while. 14°f feels cool after it's been pushing 50°f for day time highs.

I’m in the much less touristy part of the Pocono Mountains...about 40 minutes from where NY, NJ and PA all meet.

Greenwood State Park...if memory serves, that’s south of State College. Do I have that right?

I love that part of PA! Its so nice up there.

Yep I'm probably only 10-15 miles south of state college as the crow flies.

I don’t recall ever seeing a bombogenesis, but it’s headed towards the NE this morning. We had torrential rain last night and it’s windy now. Stepped out to load up chainsaws and I came back in. Lol
Going to need a bigger flannel because what’s happening outside is not jibing with the forecast.

20F and 69F. Just scraped some large coals/chunks up front and placed a small round on top. Away it goes eating up/melting down the coals. After 45 minutes it's still burning nice and lazy. Another hour or two and I'll clean out some ash. Nice sunny still day here so far. Enjoy your Sat. everyone.

Edit: 11:12AM now. Time to clean out some ash and loader up!

Low of 20.5°F , looking at sunny skies with light and variable winds with a forecasted high nearly reaching 60°F. White oak warming up the place.
